How to come to Salon-de-Provence?

By car:
Autoroute 54, exit 15 ("Salon centre"). See the question « Where can we park? »

By train (arriving at Avignon TGV) :
Regional trains run regularly between Avignon TGV and Salon-de-Provence station, see the SNCF website to know more. Salon-de-Provence train station is 15 minutes away from the apartment by walking. A free shuttle service can bring you close to the apartment (informations)

By train (arriving at Aix-en-Provence TGV) :
There are no trains between Aix-en-Provence TGV and Salon-de-Provence. You will have to take a bus (informations) or a taxi.

By plane (arriving at Marseille-Provence airport) :
Regional trains run regularly between Marseille-Provence and Salon-de-Provence station, see the SNCF website to know more. Salon-de-Provence train station is 15 minutes away from the apartment by walking. A free shuttle service can bring you close to the apartment (informations)

Where can we park?

As the flat is located in the old town centre, it is not possible to park under the apartment's windows.

There are several possibilities to park around:

  • Parking l’Empéri, paid but very close of the Coin Salonais et du Mistralet. We offer a parking ticket that allows you to park for a much lower price than the public rate, please contact us for more information. (For La Pause Salonaise, the car park Portail Coucou is closer)
  • Parking de la place Morgan, a bit further (around 7 minutes of walking) but a bit less expensive, and which has interesting rates for multi-day tickets or week tickets (see the attendants on arrival or book here).
  • A free care park is next to the train station. It is modern and secure, but is quite far away from the apartment (15-minute walk). A free shuttle service can bring you close to the apartment (informations)

How will our arrival be organized?

Some days before your arrival, we will send you a procedure explaining how to come to the apartment and how to enter it.
As we use a safe box system, you will be able to enter the apartment independently when it is ready, no matter how late.

The apartments

Is there an elevator? Are the stairs narrow?

There is no elevator, and the stairs are a bit narrow (as apartment is located in old buildings).
Le Mistralet is on the first floor, Le Coin Salonais is on the second, La Pause Salonaise is on the first. ("First floor" here means "one floor above street level")

Are bed sheets and towels provided?

Yes, we provide sheets for the beds, as well as towels and soap for each traveller.

Do we need a power adapter for the sockets?

We provide an adapter for French sockets. The adapter is compatible with these types of plugs: click here

If your appliances use sockets other than those listed, you will need to bring your own adapter.

Do not forget to check that your appliances can use 230 volts safely (used in France)

Is there air conditioning?

Yes, air conditioning is available in all our apartments.

Is there free Wi-Fi?

Yes, the apartments both have their own secure Wi-Fi, free of charge.

Is it noisy?

As the flat is located in the old town centre, the streets are generally quiet (no cars), but can become a little noisy when there are events. The flat is however very well insulated and the noise inside is minimal.

Where can we shop groceries?

Theer are several small shops located in the town center, as well as aCarrefour Market shop 8 minutes away by walking from the apartment.
Larger shopping centers are present in the town outskirts.
